Can I take off dealer plates?

Dealer plates are special plates used by dealers to let consumers drive unregistered cars that aren’t otherwise road-legal. To remove them:

1. Find the screws.
   Find the 2 or 4 screws keeping the license plate in place.
2. Get a screwdriver.
   Get a screwdriver that fits the screws (usually a Phillips screwdriver).
3. Remove the screws.
   Remove the screws by turning them counterclockwise.
4. Remove the license plate.
   Remove the license plate.
