How do I protect my license plate from theft?

License plates get stolen for two reasons. One is vandalism. The other is for use in criminal activity, e.g. for fueling up and driving away using someone else’s car number. One solid way to protect your license plates is to use anti-theft screws. These are inexpensive and fast to install. If none are available, you can take a drill and drill out the slots on a standard screw instead.
